Part of the written material of the first theme, Healing the Rift, says “… a 2012 Angus Reid poll revealed that a mere 40% of Canadians believe in evolution …”. However, the Angus Reid website says about that poll “… three-in-five Canadians (61%) think human beings evolved from less advanced life forms over millions of years …”. (From the Angus Read website page http://www.angusreidglobal.com/polls/46561/britons-and-canadians-more-likely-to-endorse-evolution-than-americans/ ).
So, the poll actually says that 60%, not 40%, of Canadian believe in evolution [by natural selection] of humans.
Could you pass this on to Jenn Simons or whomever is presenting this theme?
