We are pleased to collaborate with the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, Brentwood Christian Church, NAACP Springfield, Drury University School of Religion, the Center for Diversity and Reconciliation, and Chalice Press in order to welcome highly-acclaimed author, Sandhya Rani Jha, to Springfield.
Her talk, which is part of Drury’s Subverting the Norm Conference, is connected to themes she explores in her book, Pre-Post-Racial America: Spiritual Stories from the Front Lines, which was named by Publishers’ Weekly as a top-five book in 2015 addressing race relations in the United States. Rev. Sandhya Rani Jha’s talk is free and open to the public at 10am on Saturday, November 7th at Drury University’s Findlay Student Center Ballroom.
In addition to this event, we look forward to Rev. Jha being with us in worship at NACC on Sunday November 8th. For more information about Rev. Jha click here.
