Community

National Avenue Christian Church has a commitment to being open and inclusive. Each and every person is an important part of our ongoing conversations about justice and spirituality. Young and old, gay and straight, male and female, each person is welcomed. The centerpiece of our community life is our worship. Traditional in style and informal in atmosphere, National Avenue springs from the rich heritage of the Christian faith, drawing on liturgies both old and new to enrich our shared spiritual experiences as a community of faith.

  1. I wanted to leave a short “THANK YOU” for NACC’s sponsorship of the Greater Ozarks Pridefest a few weeks ago in downtown Springfield. It means alot that your congregation is willing to support the LGBT community publicly like this. Personally, I am impressed with your commitment to people, regardless of background. KUDOS!

  2. I can honestly say, without any hesitation that Randy and I feel very blessed to have found Nat’l Ave. Christian Church. From that very first Sunday when we stepped through the door; they showered us with love, fellowship and a sense of belongingness. I have and I think that Randy would agree with me that we have never been more happier and we feel at home at National Avenue Christian Church. They are truly “family” in every sense of the word. Thank you to the congregation (our family) for making us feel welcome, loved and accepted. We look forward to participating and being active within the church and our community.

  3. Hi all at National Avenue, I’m interested in joining you all for services but don’t have transportation and wanted to know if anyone offered ride share?
