Dinner Church is This Sunday, September 23rd!

Join us for Dinner Church on Sunday, Sept 23rd at 6pm in The Gallery.  Around the tables we share in food, conversation, and create the liturgy of our lives and worship together. It is an opportunity to experience an extended time of communion while we dive deeper into the questions about living food justice in this season of our lives. If you have any questions or want to know more, contact Pastor Jenn or Pastor Kevin. All ages are invited and no RSVP is required. Just come as you are.Food and Justice.png

The Annual NACC Picnic is September 9th!

The picnic is out on the lawn right after worship! We will be having fried chicken but will need sides brought in by you all! We ask that congregation members with last names beginning with A-K to please bring sides and salads, and L-Z to please bring desserts. We will also need help with set up out on the church lawn with tables and chairs before worship, so if you are willing and able, show up about 20 to 30 minutes before church! We so look forward to spending this time as a community and for all the lively conversation that is sure to be had!NACC picnic

Holocaust Remembrance Day Memorial Service

“To honor those who found courage to stand against evil, often at the cost of their own lives, let us vow to carry on their Struggle. We must teach ourselves and we must teach our children to learn from hate that we must love and to learn from evil that we must live our lives for good.”

The Holocaust Remembrance Day Memorial Service will be held at National Avenue Christian Church with area faith leaders/clergy readers: The Rabbi Barbara Block-Temple Israel, The Rev. Howard Cavner-Campus Minister and advocate for Students, Ekklesia at MSU, The Rev. Kevin Cravens-koch, The Rev. Jenn Simmons, and The Rev. Mark Struckhoff-Council of Churches of the Ozarks.
