Hey, friends. I’m Pastor Jody Furnas-Wright and I’m the Adjunct Minister for Families and Faith Formation. I moved to Springfield almost three years ago to be closer to family after my husband died. I was broken and coming to this church helped me feel like things wouldn’t be so hopeless forever. Then you asked me to help the church be welcoming to young people and their families. That’s my favorite part of ministry! I was ordained in 2003 after 11 years as a Christian Educator and then served almost 13 years as a Senior Pastor. My MDiv is from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Before that, my career was in the Theatre where I worked mostly as a Director. But my favorite thing I ever did in the Theatre was playing Peter Pan!
